Część wszystkim! Dziękuję, że jesteście tutaj aby być częścią tego ważnego dla mnie wydażenia. Ta wystawa to nie tylko prezentacja prac, ale zwieńczenie trzech lat intensywnego procesu twórczego.

"Invest in the Future / Investor Video reanimated" to projekt typu MAP (multiperson animated project), a jego pełne, sześciominutowe wydanie jest owocem trzyletniej pracy ponad 20 artystów z całego świata. Celem było odtworzenie short-filmu “Starr Park - Invest in the Future” (oryginał został niestety sprywatyzowany dzień przed trzecią rocznicą publikacji) zaminowanymi przez różne osoby kilkunastosekundowymi fragmentami. Dołączyłam do projektu w maju 2021, zaproszona przez Subzero Turnip'a. Od tego czasu zaprzyjaźniliśmy się, a ja “awansowałam” do roli Project Lead’a (prowadzącego). Premiera collab’u odbyła się 16 września na kanale Rey - Brawl Stars, w dzień trzeciej rocznicy opublikowania oryginalnego "Invest in the Future". Niestety, nie byłam w stanie wyrobić się na premierę, a mój fragment zastąpił placeholder. Postanowiłam więc zorganizować tę wystawę, wiedząc, że nawet jeśli mój fragment nie jest oficjalną częścią projektu, to nadal mogę go przerobić na coś, co było warte całego mojego poświęconego czasu. Coś, co będę mogła z dumą wspominać.

Mimo różnych wyzwań, projektowi zawdzięczam wiele – m.in. przyjaźń z Turnip'em, utrzymanie mojej Starr Parkowej hyperfiksacji  i rozwinięcie umiejętności graficznych.  Niczego nie żałuję. Wciąż, chciałam zamknąć ten rozdział z klasą i oddać hołd własnemu uporowi. 

I wy uparcie dążcie do celu. Jeśli stworzyłeś coś z pasją, to masz w sobie siłę, aby nawet na przekór losu przekształcić to w coś wyjątkowego.

Hello everyone! Thank you for being a part of this important to me event. This exhibition is not a mere presentation of art pieces, but a culmination of three years of an intensive creative process. ​

 

"Invest in the Future / Investor Video reanimated" is a MAP (multiperson animated project) project, and its full, six-minute release is the result of three years of work by over 20 artists from around the world. The goal was to recreate the "Starr Park - Invest in the Future"  short film (the original was unfortunately privatized a day before its third publication anniversary) with twenty-something, seconds long parts, each made by a different person. I joined the project in May 2021, invited by Subzero Turnip. Since then, we have become friends and I was "promoted" to the role of the Project Lead. The premiere of the collab took place on September 16, 2023 on the Rey - Brawl Stars channel, the day of the third publication anniversary of the original "Invest in the Future". Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it to the premiere, and my fragment was replaced by a placeholder. To compensate, I decided to host this exhibition, knowing that even if my fragment is not an official part of the project, I can still turn it into something that was worth all my spent time. Something I can look back at with pride. ​

 

Despite numerous obstacles, I owe this project a lot, including friendship with Turnip, sticking with my Starr Park hyperfixation and development of graphic skills. I regret nothing. Still, I wanted to end this chapter with style and pay tribute to my own stubbornness. And you persistently pursue your goal. If you created something with passion, you have the strength to transform it into something unique, even against all the odds.
